Inaugurating a building of Bulbue Agriculture Market Management Committee at Birendranagar in Surkhet on Thursday, she asserted Karnali’s poverty would be made a history through the promotion of organic agriculture.
Spokesperson KC, also the minister for land management, agriculture and cooperative, said the State government would roll out focused programme from coming fiscal year to enhance livelihood opportunities for poor farmers.
Minister KC also assured the public of framing agro policy of the Karnali State after receiving inputs from genuine farmers and subsequently formulating budget and programme based on the recommendations of stakeholders.
She also highlighted the need to develop and operate information centre to receive information about local products of Karnali.
She also went on saying that the State government would arrange marketing of the farmers’ agro products.
