Nepal forum of Environmental Journalists NEFEJ), a non-profit organization working in the field of environment, climate change and sustainable development journalism, invites application for Investigative Reporting Workshop ( Advance summer school, 2019 ).
Total requirement: 21 Journalists working from print and online media ( 3 from each province)
Workshop Days: 3 days (residential, Kathmandu )
After workshop, a jury of NEFEJ will select 9 journalists to provide grant to prepare investigative reports from the field.
Requirements:
Interested Journalists with at least Bachelors in any discipline and five- years experience in journalism can apply at nefej@mos.com.np with following documents:
Brief biography up to 300 words
• An essay ( maximum 400 words) highlighting the details travel grant to cover an investigative news reporting.
• Three story ideas (300 words) onclimate change issues.
• Letter of consent from media house for publishing stories. Freelancers can apply with a letter of support from any media house they plan to publish their stories
• Two samples of previous reporting on environment and climate change issue.
