Finalize DRP before felling trees : Lawmakers

Kathmandu– Lawmakers Hridayesh Tripathi has drawn the government’s attention not to cut down trees before preparing the Detailed Project Report (DPR) of Nijgadh International Airport, Bara.

During the special hour of today’s meeting of the House of Representatives, Tripathi, urged the government to make the Nepal Army further professional as well as to make easy and smooth arrangement of food stuffs including sugar during festival.

Similarly, Umakanta Chaudhary demanded the government to forward construction of Nijgadh Airport only after guaranteeing investment while Rajendra Kumar KC and Yagya Raj Sunuwar drew government’s attention to take initiative for the arrangement of equal pension of Gurkha Army working in British Army.

Likewise, Mahesh Basnet said that the government has given high priority to book the murderer(s) of Nirmala Panta of Kanchanpur. Dila Sangraula demanded to roll back the price hike of petroleum products while Nabaraj Raut drew government’s attention to allocate additional budget to complete the construction of roads of Karnali province.

Similarly, Pradeep Yadav and Rajndra Lingden also urged the government to make the constitutional acceptable to all. RSS
