Butwal – Stakeholders came together to discuss about the feasibility of the integrated agro market (Green Park) to be established in Rupandehi.
At the programme held at Butwal Sub-metropolis on Saturday, Minister for Agriculture, Land Management and Cooperatives Chakra Pani Khanal said the market has been envisioned to organise and modernize the existing market places.
He also shared that the government is planning to move the project ahead with private-cooperative collaboration. ‘This will be a model project of the entire country,’ he said.
The Green Park has been proposed to be established in the Dahargaon-Karsaghat area of Butwal Sub-metropolis-16 and Sainamaina municipality-1. A detail study of the project will be completed within this year and the construction will begin next year.
This provincial-level centre is estimated to cost around Rs. 2 billion. RSS
