The weather will be cloudy throughout the country today with the possibility of light to moderate rain together with thunder and lightning due to the influence of the low pressure trough that is near the eastern part of the country, meteorologist at the Meteorological Forecasting Division, Ganga Nagarkoti, said. According to her, the monsoon weather activity has become active in the eastern and central part of the country.
“There is likelihood of heavy rain taking place in most parts of the country since the evening on Friday since the low pressure trough will reach the western part by tomorrow,” Nagarkot said. Partly to generally cloudy condition will prevail throughout the country on Friday and Saturday as well with the occurrence of light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in some places.
