Tourists look at an icebergs from the seashore of King’s Point on July 3, 2019 in Newfoundland, Canada. Formerly the center of cod fishing, the island province now sees more and more Icebergs that made their last trip from Greenland to Newfoundland.

The abundance of icebergs, which continue to venture further into Canadian waters, has created a new form of tourism, iceberg sightseeing. In 2018, more than 500,000 tourists visited the province of Newfoundland, contributing nearly 570 million Canadian dollars (389 million euros) to the local economy, according to the estimates of the provincial government.

BEIJING – Staff members feed a giant panda in Wolong, southwest China’s Sichuan Province, May 26, 2019. Located in southwest China, Sichuan is a landlocked province boasting various biological resources and landscapes.

Sichuan is often dubbed as “giant panda capital of the world,” as more than 70% wild pandas live in the province. To bring the species back from the brink of extinction, relevant authorities have been implementing measures to protect and restore habitats, as well as expand and build nature reserves and breeding bases, in a race to save the bear.
