Following flood-triggered removal of diversion along the Padampokhari road in Hetauda, the public movement between some wards of Padampokhari and Manahari rural municipality and Hetauda has disrupted. It may be noted that Hetauda was brought back to normalcy only after 12 days last month when the flood wreaked havoc in the sub-metropolis.
Police informed that the flood-fed Karra rivulet has swept away a vehicle with Indian number plate in Hetauda. The flood took away the vehicle while returning after unloading raw materials of Shivam Cement. However, no human casualty was reported in the incident, said Anish Budhathoki, Police Inspector of District Police Office.
Asman Tamang, Chief District Officer of Makawanpur, informed that the Hetauda-Fakhel Kathmandu road section however is smooth despite flooding. “There was no raining in the northern belt last night so the roads are smooth up to now. The shower has just started to take place so taking precaution during travel on the road is a must now”, he added. RSS
