The owl festival was recently held in Jiri of Dolakha district. This is the seventh owl festival celebrated in Nepal. Some conservationists were also awarded in the owl festival, which was started with the aim of spreading awareness of the owl preservation. Should the efforts of preserving owls be given this much of importance? What is the science behind it?

Every year, February 2 is marked as the World Wetlands day. This year, the day was celebrated with the theme ‘Wetlands for a Sustainable Urban Future’ in Nepal too.
