Radio drama ‘Mitini’ is aired every Saturday on Radio Sagarmatha at 7:15 pm.
This is an awareness program against child marriage.
This program started in a weekly basis on Asar 2073 B.S. from 55 FM stations all over the country with the aim of educating parents against child marriage.
The program, which carried a slogan of ‘Balbalikako Iccha: Bibaha haina Shikshya (Children’s wish: Education not marriage)’, has aired 95 episodes till date.
Saying no to child marriage, its effect on children’s education, physical and mental health and what does the law say about child marriage? etc. are some of the issues covered in this radio drama ‘Mitini’.
