State-2 Minster for Land Management and Agriculture Cooperative Shaielndra Prasad Sah said emphasis on agriculture has been reflected in policy and programme to make State-2 an agrarian state.
He said this while inaugurating the National Mango Festival-2076 at Surunga municipality-6, Sripur Kushaha in Saptari. The state government has the plan to massively install dip boring and distribute shallow tube well to small farmers to increase farmers’ access to irrigation.
He further said the state government has rolled out a plan to develop agriculture as an industry and keep youth force in the country by generating agro-based employment. It is shared that mango farming is being cultivated in 500 hectares of land in Surunga municipality-6, Sripur. RSS
