Deliberations have begun on the bill related to land in the meeting of the House of Representatives.
The Land Management Bill (8th amendment) 2075 was tabled in the parliament by the Minister for Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation Padma Kumari Aryal .
Minister Aryal shared that the government was working for scientific land management and addressing the issues of landless squatters and bonded labourers.
Talking part in the deliberations lawmakers Ganga Chaudhary Sadgauwa, Gauri Shankar Chaudhary, Bimala Bishwakarma, Krishna Bhakta Pokharel, Narayan Prasad Khatiwada, Ram Kumari Jhakri opined for controlling the land encroachment in various places.
