Kathmandu – Nepal is all set to launch its own satellite in the space on April 17. Once the satellite named as ‘Bud Three’ is launched into the outer space, Nepal will receive information from its own satellite. NAST says the satellite will capture photos of various places of Nepal and give daily information about the mountain, hill, plain, forest, glacier, roads, and floods.
Hakahaki journalists Shalik Bhatt and Amish Regmi caught up with head of NAST’s technology faculty Rabindra Dhakal to talk about the challenges Nepal had to face for launching the satellite, the expenses for the project and how Nepal would be benefit from the satellite, among other issues.
