‘River guide’ training for tourism promotion

Kathmandu : A ‘River Guide’ training has begun in the Karnali river for tourism promotion.
The three-day training, organised by Nepal Association of Rafting (NARA) in promotional collaboration with Nepal Tourism Board, has kicked off on Tuesday.

NARA general secretary Shiva Adhikari shared the training was organised to produce competent river guide to propel adventurous rafting entrepreneurship in each province.

It is shared that Trishuli, Bhotekoshi, Karnali, Koshi and Narayani are considered appropriate rivers for adventurous rafting.

The campaign would be spectacular to materialise the government’s target to bring two million tourists in the tourism year 2020.

The free of cost training is also expected to engage unemployed youths in tourism industry. RSS
