Parasi : Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun has suggested utilising nature and culture for nation’s prosperity.
Nepal is rich with natural and cultural capital so optimum utilisation of the resources would help materialise the national campaign of ‘Prosperous Nepal and Happy Nepali’, he said.
Vice President Pun made this remark while inaugurating the first industrial trade fair and folk cultural tourism festival beginning from today at Sunawal Municipality-13, Badera of Nawalparasi. “Albeit our country is enriched with nature and culture it has not been best capitalised for country’s development. There are higher potentials that prosperity could be achieved by appropriately using nature and culture towards promoting tourism”, Pun added.
The National Folk and Duet Song Academy Nepal and Sunawal Chamber of Commerce and Industry has jointly organised the festival which will conclude on February 11. The festival has over 150 stalls. RSS
