Doti : A person has been critically injured after being struck by lightning in Doti district on Wednesday.
Tek Bahadur Kunjeda, 28, of Dipayel Silgadhi municipality-8 was injured in the incident. He is receiving treatment at the District Hospital, Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office Lal Bahadur Dhami said.
Meanwhile in Bajura, 52 sheep were killed by lightning in the district today. The incident took place when lightning struck them as they were being taken to graze at a jungle at Badimalika municipality-7.
Out of 123 sheep taken to jungle for graze, 52 died in the incident. The sheep belonged to Rajendra Rokaya and Deepak Dhami of Budhinanda municipality-4, who jointly run a sheep farm.
Similarly, station of Radio Bajura has suffered damages due to lightning. The radio service has been obstructed as a result. RSS
