Pokhara : The Gandaki Province has decided to implement the Supreme Court decision on conservation of the Phewa Lake.
The recent meeting of the Council of Ministers here decided to implement Supreme Court decision by forming an 11-member committee under the chairmanship of Province Minister for Industry, Tourism, Forest and Environment, Bikash Lamsal.
The committee members are provincial assembly members Ramaji Baral Jiwan, Krishna Bahadur Thapa, Rajib Pahari and Bindu Kumar Thapa, and Mayor of Pokhara Metropolis, Man Bahadur GC.
The information to this was shared by government spokesperson and Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Development, Ram Sharan Basnet today.
Other members of the committee are secretaries from the ministries of industry, tourism, forest and environment; internal affairs and law, and physical infrastructures and development, Chief District Officer of Kaski and Chief Administration Officer of Pokhara Metropolitan city. RSS
