Kathmandu– A pair of rhinos named ‘Solti’ and ‘Mitini, which will be gifted to China soon, arrived in Kathmandu on Wednesday.
The rhinos will be boarding in a cargo plane on 16 August from the Tribhuvan International Airport. ‘Mitini’(Female) was taken into control from west sector of CNP some three months ago, while ‘Solti’ a male rhino that was rescued from Tribeni in Nawalparasi from Nepal-Indo border last year after it was swept away by flood. Earlier, both the rhinos were kept in Shanghai Safari Park in China. Nepal has already gifted two rhinos named ‘Rupasi’ and ‘Bhadra’ to China.
