Rafting has started for the first time in Budhiganga River of Accham district which is located in province no. 7.
It is available in 13 KM from Sanfe to Jimradi of Chitre, a religious place of the district. Masto Outdoor Company, a private company of Kathmandu has provided necessary supports for the rafting.
The rafting was commenced on the auspicious occasion of Nepali New Year 2075. Last year, a pilot project was launched to find out the prospects and challenges of rafting in this river. The rafting is expected to help to boost the tourism industry of the district. It cost Rs 15,00 per individual for the rafting. Budhigana is a tributary of Karnali River. Origin of this river is Jagadullah lake of Bajura district.
