Kathmandu : Deputy Prime Minister Ishwor Pokhrel has assured of retrieving the public land. While inaugurating a park named ‘Dhanwantari Park’ amidst a programme today in Dhumbarahi, the Deputy Prime Minister said there would be garden, open spaces and recreation spots on such public lands.
He sought people’s help to identify the lost public property and regain them. “People’s awareness and role is necessary to protect public property.” Similarly, also speaking on the occasion State 3 State Assembly member Narayan Silwal said the park construction was meant for protecting the public land from being encroached.
He promised assistance on behalf of the state government to further upgrade the park. As said by Dhumbarahi ward-4 chair Mohan Bista, it cost Rs 1.25 million of the state government and a local club Dhumbarahi Dhanwantari Club was spend to build the park. RSS
