He said investigations into the case had begun from Banke and the team would visit Shirsthan of Dailekh where the heard was said to be taken. The committee on Monday conducted a monitoring of the Nepalgunj-based Kanji House from where the cattle were collected and inquired about the issue with people’s representatives and employees.

An arrest warrant has been issued against Police Inspector (under the Nepalgunj metropolis) Surya Bogati. It is said it had arrived Surkhet with trucks carrying cattle. The existing Criminal Code of Nepal has the provision against the killing of cow or ox and causing any sorts of harms on them, and thus it is punishable by law with a three-year imprisonment, if convicted.
