Lawmakers ask govt to continue pesticide testing in vegetables

Lawmakers attending a session of the House of Representatives on Sunday have expressed their concerns over various current issues. Lawmakers, Prem Suwal, Durga Poudel and Dilendra Prasad Badu, drew the attention of the government to continue to test pesticides in fruits and vegetables being imported from India.

They also accused the government of withdrawing its pesticide test in vegetables and fruits being imported from India following a pressure from Indian Embassy in Nepal.

Pampha Bhusal sought relevancy of the Nepal Army Wives Association and the National Police Wives Association.

Likewise, Laxman Lal Karna demanded that the commission formed under chairpersonship of former Justice of Supreme Court Girish Chandra Lal to study incidents that took place during Tarai-Madhes movements be made public. RSS
